Position Summary

People in Need Cambodia is seeking a creative, proactive, and versatile Communications Assistant to support the Communications and Media Lead in implementing the organisation’s communication activities.

The Communications Assistant will work with project teams during field activities to take photos and videos, collect testimonies and relevant information, and support the production and development of communication materials. The position will also support the collection, preparation, organisation, and archiving of communication materials and updates; cover events and official meetings; respond to audience enquiries; and maintain communication resources such as photo, video, and testimonial databases.

Communications and Media Lead

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field;
  • Relevant experience in communications, media, social media, or a related field is an advantage. Fresh graduates with relevant skills and a strong interest in communications are encouraged to apply;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in Khmer and English;
  • Basic skills in photography, videography, and social media content creation;
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel;
  • Knowledge of basic graphic design tools such as Canva is an advantage;
  • Willingness to travel to project locations when required.
